Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts will debut the Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina Bogotá in Colombia next month.
The residential-style hotel will be repurposed from a historic building that was completed by architect Santiago Medina Mejia in 1946. Original French and Spanish-influenced design details will be restored and preserved.
Each of the property’s 62 rooms and suites will be unique, with some featuring fireplaces and beamed ceilings.
The hotel will offer the 16-seat Castanyoles Raciones y Tapas restaurant, which will be outfitted with a woodburning grill, Spanish tiling, and a broad terrace located beneath a new-build glass atrium.
Additional amenities will include a spa retreat, gym, and event spaces able to host up to 200 guests. Previously the restaurant, the Los Rosales event room will feature wood walls, stone columns, and wrought iron rails.
