Oxford Hotels and Resorts and Oxford Capital Group has announced that its latest high-end boutique concept—the Godfrey Hotel Hollywood—will make its debut in spring 2019. Totaling 145,000 square feet, the hotel will be constructed in close proximity to three major, forthcoming developments including the $450 million mixed-use hub Academy on Vine.
Designed by California-based architecture firm Steinberg Hart, the Godfrey Hotel Hollywood will convey a contemporary ethos to entice jet-setting young professionals. In addition to 220 guestrooms spread across eight stories, the property will house amenities such as a fitness center and a courtyard equipped with a green projection wall for screenings. A rooftop pool and bar and will crown the hotel, while the steakhouse concept About Last Knife will open its second restaurant onsite as well.
