Hard Rock International has plans to open the Hard Rock Hotel Dallas-Fort Worth. Construction of the $400 million property is scheduled to begin in January 2015, and the hotel is projected to open in January 2018.
Set in the Grand Alps Village development in Grand Prairie, Texas, the hotel will take advantage of its close proximity to the future home of the most advanced indoor snow facility in the world. The 300-room, Hard Rock-managed hotel will include 86 rooms overlooking the ski facility, a rooftop pool complex, and two Rock Star suites.
“We’re looking forward to managing the property and introducing our Hard Rock Hotel brand into the thriving Dallas-Fort Worth area,” says Marco Roca, executive vice president and chief development officer for Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos. “As we look to expand our hotel portfolio, we seek out promising locations and successful partners, and we have achieved that with the Grand Alps development.”
Additionally, the property will offer 50,000 square feet of meeting space, music memorabilia, a RockShop featuring Hard Rock merchandise, and the Sound of Your Stay—the brand’s all-encompassing music amenity program.
