Hilton has signed the Indura Beach & Golf Resort in Honduras to its global Curio collection of luxury hotels. Slated to join the collection this July, the 60-suite resort will be the first Curio property in Central America, and Hilton’s second in Honduras.
The hotel, which debuted in 2014, is part of a larger development that will soon include two to three hotels and 800 residential units along 26 miles of Tela Bay. Guests can also take advantage of the nearby Jeanette Kawas National Park, which offers outdoor activities like kayaking and horseback riding.
The resort is also home to the country’s first championship 18-hole golf course, designed by golfer Gary Player. Five onsite eateries, including the signature locally inspired Bazul, offer guests South American recipes made from ingredients grown on the property, while Maina Spa reflects Honduran culture in both its treatments and design. A state-of-the-art conference center, executive boardroom, ballroom, and courtyards can accommodate events of up to 400 attendees.
