Hilton Worldwide is expanding its Hampton Inn presence in Mexico with the opening of Hampton Inn by Hilton in Merida, in the Yucatán capital.
The new-build, 130-room hotel is less than 30 minutes from Manuel Crescencio Rejón International Airport. Centrally located in the city’s central business district, it is also nearby the Siglo XXI Convention Center, several major company headquarters, government offices, and Paseo de Montejo North—a throroughfare developed in the 19th century that is aesthetically similar to Paris’ iconic Champs-Élysées.
The new hotel features a contemporary design highlighted by earthy hues and signature Hampton Inn by Hilton brand elements, such as local photography and artwork.
Amenities include a fitness center, 3,000 square feet of event space spanning eight meeting rooms, and a business center.
Managed by Hilton Worldwide, the hotel joins a global portfolio of more than 2,000 Hampton Inn by Hilton, Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton, and Hampton by Hilton properties.
