BD Hotels has announced plans to rebrand the Holiday Inn Midtown in New York as the Watson Hotel beginning in February. The high-rise, two-tower property houses 600 guestrooms, boasting some of the largest rooms in the city.
Crowning the hotel’s South Tower is the seasonal rooftop garden complete with an outdoor pool, wraparound sundeck, and the poolside café. The setting offers unobstructed 270-degree views of Lower Manhattan as well as the Hudson River.
Additional amenities include a 1,390-square-foot fitness center, American dining concept Gotham Café, and the lobby’s Skylight Lounge. Meeting space is also available, with four large meeting rooms spanning more than 8,700 square feet.
