The former Traders Hotel Singapore has reopened as Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore following an approximately $31.5 million renovation.
The contemporary hotel is one of nine Hotel Jen-branded properties in the Asia Pacific region under Shangri-La International Hotel Management.
Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore is located near Orchard Road shopping district, the Singapore Botanic Gardens—a UNESCO World Heritage site, Tanglin Mall, Camden Medical Centre, and Gleneagles Hospital and Medical Centre.
The 18-story property’s 565 guestrooms, including a group of residentially informed Executive suites, boast a selection of four locally inspired wallpaper designs that feature bicycle, orchid, goldfish, or shop house motifs.
F&B outlets include the 17th-floor club lounge, which offers city views; the new J65 restaurant, which nods to local farmer’s markets with Southeast Asian-inspired cuisine; and Jen’s Kitchen On-the-Go, a lobby café.
Hotel Jen Tanglin expects to become a creative event space for local brands and artisans to showcase their products, including F&B, fashion, and art.
