The Hyatt Centric brand has introduced its latest upscale lifestyle hotel in the heart of Minneapolis at the site of the former Minneapolis Athletic Club. Designed by Warwick, Rhode Island-based ABI Design, the contemporary interiors of the new Hyatt Centric Downtown Minneapolis are defined by rich finishes and abundant references to the location’s history, which spans back to the early 20th century. The hotel accommodates 154 guestrooms, including 22 suites, and is outfitted with locally inspired artwork and details that nod to the city’s collegiate spirit.
More than 6,900 square feet of versatile event space, includes the 3,750-square-foot MAC Ballroom, is spread across the hotel’s fifth and sixth floors. Additionally, the 7,000-square-foot fitness center boasts an indoor running track, squash courts, and a wide range of exercise amenities like a Nordic ski station.
