Hyatt Hotels and the Commonwealth Hotel Collection have announced the opening of the Hyatt Regency Aurora-Denver Conference Center. The property is located just outside of Denver in Aurora, a growing medical research and development hub serving the nearby University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. The close proximity to the Denver airport and the Regional Transportation District light rail makes the new hotel an ideal meeting destination.
The hotel boasts substantial meeting and event space, with more 36,000 square feet available. 15 traditional meeting rooms occupy 20,000 square feet, and an additional 8,100 square feet of space boasts prestigious accreditation from the International Association of Conference Centers. An 11,750-square-foot grand ballroom serves as an alternative venue.
The Hyatt Regency hotel features 249 guestrooms including four grand suites and one presidential suite, along with a fitness center, hot tub, and outdoor swimming pool and sundeck.
Onsite restaurant Borealis is also making its debut. Guests can choose from a wide array of cuisines in chef Tim Freeman’s relaxed eatery, which also offers seating on a portion of the hotel’s 4,000-square-foot terrace.
