Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened the Hyatt House San Juan, debuting as Puerto Rico’s first extended stay hotel as well as the brand’s first Hyatt House hotel outside of the continental United States.
The 126-room hotel offers residentially inspired studio and one-bedroom suites, most with views of the Atlantic Ocean and San Juan Bay. The hotel’s suites also feature contemporary full kitchens. Hyatt House San Juan is close to the Puerto Rico Convention Center, Financial District in Hato Rey, Isla Grande Airport, and the Port of San Juan.
“This has been a remarkable year in Puerto Rico with Hyatt, following the opening of Hyatt Place San Juan/Bayamon and Hyatt Place Manatí in December and March. The three properties represent over $115 million in development costs for us,” says Federico Stubbe, Jr., president of PRISA Group, the hotels’ developer and owner. “Hyatt House San Juan is yet another example of our continued focus on developing and investing in Puerto Rico to attract business, convention and leisure travelers alike.”
The hotel additionally boasts more than 985 square feet of meeting space for business or social gatherings and a range of public spaces, including a commons, a workout room and an outdoor pool and patio.
