The Hyatt Regency Frisco is poised to debut in Texas next month. Spread across 18 stories of the local Stonebriar Centre shopping mall, the 303-room hotel is housed within a modern glass structure conceived by Dallas-based HKS Architects, while interiors from Chicago-based firm Looney & Associates will convey classic Texas craftsmanship.
“The interior design acknowledges Frisco’s North Texas heritage while looking ahead to its bright future,” says Looney & Associates principal Jim Looney. “Open, fresh, and inviting characterizes our design approach.”
Subtle color and texture permeate throughout the interior, expressed by a medley of tactile, natural materials. Soft architectural lighting and a slew of dramatic focal points also punctuate the design. In addition to the 27,500-square-foot conference center, amenities include a large lobby bar, dual restaurants, and a 3,000-square-foot satellite branch of the Frisco Public Library.
