IHG Hotels & Resorts is celebrating the opening of its 6,000th hotel with the launch of the 6,000 Club, a collection of newly opened properties that showcases the global reach of its 17 brands. The 6,000 Club includes the Six Senses Fort Barwara, Regent Phu, Kimpton Margot Sydney, voco The Hague, Atwell Suites Denver Airport, and Staybridge Suites Al Khobar City.
The company remains on track to grow its portfolio by 30 percent, with more than 1,800 hotels in the pipeline. To further connect travelers around the world, IHG has also announced new partnerships with Major League Soccer, European Professional Club Rugby, and music festivals including Governors Ball, Lollapalooza, and Reading and Leeds Festivals.
