Japanese hot spring resort Hakone Kowaki-en Tenyu will debut in April 2017 as the new addition to the Hakone Kowaki-en resort complex. Surrounded by the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, the 150-room resort is located approximately two hours from Tokyo and Mount Fuji.
Each guestroom will be equipped with a private open-air hot spring bath as well as an authentic Japanese ambiance, with décor blending traditional luxury with modern Japanese aesthetics. The property will also house a spa, hot spring baths, a restaurant, and a bar and lounge. The complex’s additional dining facilities include the Japanese soba noodle eatery Soba Kihinkan and steakhouse concept Teppanyaki Geihinkan. Featured among the onsite leisure options are Hakone Kowaki-en Yunessun, a hot spring-themed amusement park, and celebrated botanical garden Horaein Park.
