Rockville, Maryland-based architecture firm Jonathan Nehmer & Associates (JN+A) and HVS Design have revealed the architecture and interiors for the new Hotel Zero Degrees in Danbury, Connecticut. The newly debuted outpost is the third for the boutique lifestyle brand.
Natural elements are incorporated throughout as a nod to the local landscape. Housed within the modern lodge-style structure, guests are welcomed in the lobby by a two-story fireplace wrapped in metal and stone. The open floorplan, featuring flexible furniture configurations, promotes community.
Guestrooms feature a warm palette of gray and taupe offset by green for a pop of European flair. Several suites include large, open living spaces that are equipped with streamlined wet bars, sectional sleep sofas with leather frames, and large barn doors to maximize floor space. Oversized bathrooms are punctuated by spacious showers dressed in large-format tile to evoke a sense of luxury, while a marble accent wall balances the ironwork of the faucet and bath accessories.
