Jumeirah Group has announced its appointment to manage and operate the iconic Capri Palace in Anacapri, Italy. Set to open in April 2020, it will be the company’s sixth European outpost.
Crafted akin to an 18th century Neapolitan palazzo, the sumptuous retreat features an ornate design from Italian architects Fabrizia Frezza and Marco De Luca. Under the new banner, the design-driven Capri Palace, Jumeriah will further reflect a reverence for contemporary art juxtaposed with its storied heritage. All 68 accommodations will be updated with a similar tastefulness, clad with a palette of white, blue, and neutral tones evoking a Mediterranean-style ambiance. The hotel’s private beach club Il Riccio and the signature eatery L’Olivo, which has earned two Michelin stars, will continue to anchor its social offerings.
