Building upon its luxury portfolio in China, JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts has opened the JW Marriott Hotel Zhejiang Anji. The 228-room hotel is an hour’s drive from Hangzhou’s city center and located within the Phoenix International golf course, close to Anji’s Bamboo Exposition Park and China’s first Hello Kitty theme park.
“We are proud to introduce the JW Marriott property in China,” says Henry Lee, COO of Greater China for Marriott International. “For those who like to mix business and leisure, we offer a one-of-a-kind experience, all in close proximity to both Shanghai and Hangzhou.”
Designed in partnership with Los Angeles-based Karen Wang Interiors, guestrooms feature a palette of neutral tones, in reference to the hotel’s surroundings, and organic accents such as carved wood screens, natural materials, and soft lighting.
Fine dining restaurant Man Ho includes 17 private dining rooms for meetings and events, while JW Kitchen is an all-day experience showcasing mountain views from its outdoor patio and an open kitchen.
Other amenities include a 380-guest ballroom, five meeting rooms, a health club, and indoor swimming pool.
