Kempinski Hotels has revealed expansion of its footprint in Cuba with the new Havana location, Gran Hotel Bristol by Kempinski. The brand’s third outpost in the country, the forthcoming property is slated to open by the end of this year. Aiming to be the new gem of the Old Town of the city, its interiors will be reflective of the vibrant bohemian soul of Havana in the early and mid 20th century, crafted by the South African designer Arno Joubert.
The original façade of the structure with a history of more than 100 years will remain intact, while the renovated building will accommodate 162 guestrooms and suites, including a 1,450-square-foot presidential suite. The lively new Kempsinki concept will also feature five distinct F&B options onsite, in addition to amenities like two boardrooms, a fitness center, and a rooftop infinity pool.
