The Kimpton Angler’s South Beach is set to unveil its renovations this spring. In addition to revamped spaces, the hotel will introduce 85 new guestrooms and suites within the newly crafted tower on Washington Avenue. This expansion will grow the onsite room count to 132, with spacious layouts that range from 400 to 1,000 square feet.
San Francisco-based designer Nicole Hollis oversaw the hotel’s interiors, which are characterized by raw materials, handhewn works, and custom artwork that each accentuate the refined aesthetic. The varied accommodations will include modern studios equipped with lush terraces, as well as two-story lofts connected via a spiral staircase and two-story villas that grant access to lush gardens. Spa villas will also span two stories with two full bathrooms, a private patio, and Jacuzzi, while three-story poolside bungalows will be outfitted with a private rooftop terrace, outdoor shower, and lounge area.
New public spaces will be revealed as well, such as the rooftop pool and sundeck, and a new bar and restaurant concept that will replace the existing 660 at Angler’s.
