Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has announced plans to launch its first property in Indianapolis. Scheduled to open in early 2020, the hotel will debut as an adaptive reuse of the city’s historic Odd Fellows building, which was first designed in 1908 by renowned architect Francis Costigan.
Led by Ave Bradley, Kimpton’s global senior vice president of design and creative director, the project will see the creation of 130 guestrooms, a signature eatery, and more than 5,000 square feet of event and meeting space. The hotel will also host the city’s maiden rooftop bar, which will be outfitted with expansive windows that overlook the heart of downtown Indianapolis.
