Lark Hotels is celebrating the reopening of Blue, Inn on the Beach in Plum Island, Massachusetts. The 13-room property is located just north of Boston on an 11-mile coastal stretch of the state’s North Shore.
Rachel Reider, design director for Lark Hotels, led a full refresh of the property’s guestrooms and cottages prior to the reopening. The new look draws influence from the island’s beaches and small-town atmosphere, and features hues of white and beige as well as sea glass blue. Select guestrooms are equipped with fireplaces, full kitchens, patios, and private portions of the beach. The 2,200-square-foot oceanview Blue suite offers two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a waterfront Jacuzzi hot tub. Located across the street, Blue’s one- and two-bedroom cottages are steps away from the beach and the hotel’s second hot tub. An outdoor seating area and outdoor shower are also included.
