Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) has rebranded the luxury-lifestyle Carillon Miami Beach hotel, which is scheduled to undergo a $25 million renovation next spring. Z Capital Partners acquired the property in January.
Having debuted as Carillon Hotel in 1958, the North Beach Miami (NoBe) property is currently home to 150 suites and 580 upscale residences, as well as the newly launched indoor-outdoor Thyme restaurant—a tongue-in-cheek reference to the hotel’s name, which literally refers to bells in a clocktower. This time-inspired motif also manifests in large clocks that top the main hotel tower’s exterior.
Slated for completion next winter, the revamp will include the lobby, porte cochère, restaurant, bar and lounge, outdoor event spaces, pool area, and spa. An outdoor bar area will also be repurposed from the property’s Ocean Terrace.
Additional amenities include a 70,000-square-foot spa, a fitness center, and the Boutique retail outlet.
LHW is in the process of planning additional Carillon-branded properties both domestically and internationally.
