Mama Shelter is set to open its seventh outpost this month along Ulica Kneza Mihaila in central Belgrade.
Designed by São Paulo-based designer Jalil Amor, Mama Shelter Belgrade will include décor that pays tribute to the Serbian capital’s Ottoman history with elegantly woven kilim rugs as well as a medley of matte colors, vintage prints, and inviting sofas that work together in reimagining the eastern bloc aesthetic. Luxe king beds will be installed in all 125 guestrooms. Endowed with ample meeting and social spaces, the hotel will boast a 5,000-square-foot terrace with gaming as well as peerless views of the city. The onsite lounge will also serve as a destination for casual socializing.
