Iberostar Hotels & Resorts has commissioned Dutch designer Marcel Wanders to conceive the Iberostar Grand Hotel Portals Nous—slated to open next May.
The 5-Star, adult-only hotel is currently under construction in Portals Nous—a city on Majorca in the Balearic Islands. The site will serve as the company’s first Grand Collection property on the island and its 10th in the luxury portfolio.
The 63-room Iberostar Grand Hotel Portals Nous will use a sustainable and energy-efficient model, which will include a curtain wall system to control room temperatures. Guests will also have access to a spa with a Turkish bath and sauna.
