The Marquette Hotel in Minneapolis will unveil its $25 million transformation into a Curio Collection by Hilton property later this month. The converted hotel is the collection’s first Minnesota outpost, and features a locally inspired design from New York-based studio MARKZEFF.
The 282-room property’s design pays homage to the city’s heritage while also being anchored in a modern sensibility. Layers of deep gray, charcoal, and vibrant blue tones create a stylish flair that showcases sleek timelessness throughout the interior. Punctuated with open-concept spaces, the hotel lobby—reminiscent of an art gallery—boasts inviting furnishings, modern elements and textures, ambient lighting, and cozy seating .
Ranging in size from 450 to 1,200 square feet, all rooms include monochromatic palettes complete with clean lines and hardwood floors accented with marble and white linen. Spacious guestrooms are designed with a lounge area, large windows, expansive views, and grand bathrooms.
The hotel’s new signature Italian-Mediterranean eatery Jacques will be installed on the ground floor, replacing Jolliet House. Named for French Jesuit missionary Jacques Marquette, the restaurant will seat 92 guests across 2,000 square feet.
