The Mayfair Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles is slated to complete the second phase of its multimillion-dollar redesign from local architect and designer Gulla Jonsdottir this spring. The hotel will welcome an Art Deco-style lobby crafted to reflect the golden age of Hollywood, but not without a few modern or contemporary accents. Opening next door to the Beaux Arts hotel, the Eve Bistro & Bar promises to serve style, while the café concept Fairgrounds will make its West Coast debut adjacent to the property as its newest F&B venue.
Phase one of the project was completed last year, with upgrades to all 296 accommodations, including suites and penthouse suites. Portions of the renovation’s third phase are slated to arrive later this year as well, which will see the debut of a new pool and roof deck.
