MGallery by Sofitel has announced its ongoing brand expansion with the opening this month of the David Tower Hotel Netanya MGallery by Sofitel. Boasting views of the Israeli Riviera, the new property houses 70 guestrooms, two suites, and three junior suites.
Much of the décor is inspired by the lore of King David’s mysterious love affair. The hotel welcomes guests with a grand portrait of a woman suspected to be his secret lover. The Ottoman conqueror’s penchant for the Mediterranean Sea is also emphasized in parts of the design.
Modeled after an opulent mansion, the hotel tower melds European classicism with oriental features—including in the white and gold lobby, where high ceilings, pops of indigo and turquoise, velvet chairs, and vertical rugs create a luxurious atmosphere.
The Via Maris spa offers an array of wellness amenities, such as a pool, a Turkish bath, a sauna, and multiple treatment and massage rooms. Also available are the inviting hotel library, an onsite restaurant, and the versatile lobby bar, which features a grand piano.
MGallery’s first Brazilian property, the Hotel Santa Teresa Rio de Janeiro, celebrated its grand opening in March. Further developments in Tuscany and London are slated for summer and fall.
