Following the reopenings of the Bellagio, MGM Grand, Excalibur, and New York-New York earlier this month, MGM Resorts is set to open the doors of additional Las Vegas properties over the next several weeks. Luxor and the Shoppes at Mandalay Bay Place are set to reopen on Thursday, June 25th, while ARIA, Mandalay Bay, and Four Seasons Las Vegas will return on Wednesday, July 1st.
Each MGM property will adhere to the company’s Seven-Point Safety Plan, which encompasses a comprehensive set of protocols and procedures developed in conjunction with medical and scientific experts in order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Tenets of the plan include screening and temperature checks for employees; encouraging guests to wear masks; social distancing enforced via floor guides; standalone handwashing stations on casino floors; contactless check-in; and more.
