Noble Investment Group has opened the Moxy New Orleans hotel in the Big Easy, marking the Marriott brand’s entrance into the U.S. It is the third Moxy property to open worldwide since launching in Milan in 2014.
Located on O’Keefe Avenue near the French Quarter, the boutique hotel houses 108 tech-enhanced guestrooms. Industrial touches include concrete floors, exposed columns, and open ceilings.
New York-based Stonehill & Taylor Architects has created a playful atmosphere rife with color and modern décor. Inviting communal areas, such as the NOW public space, offers ample games while the library zone provides a quiet retreat.
Moxy Hotels is continuing to grow its U.S. portfolio, with 17 locations slated to open by the end of 2017 in cities like Nashville, New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington, DC. The brand plans to launch 150 hotels worldwide over the next decade.
