The latest property under Marriott’s lifestyle Moxy brand—the Moxy Frankfurt Eschborn—has opened. It is the brand’s second in Germany, following the Moxy Munich Airport earlier this year. The hotel was designed by Amsterdam-based architecture firm APTO.
The bright and open lobby serves as the nucleus of the 176-room hotel, with sealed concrete floors, ambient light, colorful accents, and walls clad with artwork and nods to regional culture including artistic beer jugs. A video wall also serves as the focal point of the space. Guestrooms features sound-reducing walls as well as neutral-toned deep-seated leather armchairs and motion-sensitive LED guidelights and backlit glass panels. Natural daylight floods the hotel’s flexible meeting room, which offers a meeting table that doubles as a shuffleboard court.
