Offsite, Philadelphia’s newest collaborative workspace housed within the Fitler Club, has announced the launch of a new art program, Art @ Offsite, which will compromise dual initiatives to promote a diverse community of civically engaged and philanthropic leaders.
Philadelphia Spotlight will launch in partnership with Philadelphia Contemporary, a nonprofit contemporary art institution in the city. The art pop-up concept will aim to establish a permanent home for the organization in West Philadelphia, curating two annual exhibitions at Offsite. The program’s inaugural exhibition will feature work from mixed media artist Leroy Johnson.
The program will also include an artists-in-residence collective that will feature 19 artists for 12 to 24 months.
