Oxford Capital Group has announced its acquisition of four hotels located in downtown San Francisco. The 110-room Hotel Vertigo, the 117-room Good Hotel, the143-room Americania Hotel, and the 48-room Carriage Inn will each undergo a renovation and rebranding to align with the ethos of the Oxford Capital. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
“This is a compelling time to be buying these hotels, amidst increasing hotel demand created by the reopening of the renovated and expanded Moscone Center, continued influx of new Class A office and residential buildings, and record-breaking leisure visitation to downtown San Francisco,” says Sarang Peruri, principal at Oxford Capital Group and its wholly owned affiliate Oxford Hotels & Resorts. “The properties are centrally located with large guestrooms and good bones, allowing for an attractive canvas to create distinctive guestrooms and public areas.”
Hotel Vertigo is located in the city’s lower Nob Hill neighborhood within a 1925-built structure, while the remaining three properties reside in the nearby South of Market section of San Francisco.
