The West End Hotel in Los Angeles has been reimagined as the Palihotel Culver City. Originally conceived as a boarding house in 1927, the 49-room property received a facelift from Palisociety CEO Avi Brosh and the hospitality company’s in-house team.
Located at the threshold of LA’s downtown core, the Palihotel Culver City embraces a modern, urban reinterpretation of classic themes with bohemian, Art Deco-inspired influences reminiscent of the building’s past. The façade has been restored with a blue palette, custom tilework and fixtures, and an original mural. The quaint and bustling lobby is anchored by a bespoke wooden desk and brand signatures such as vintage artwork, custom lighting, and unique details like bowls of fresh tennis balls. A central bar serves as the social hub of the F&B concept Simonette. The intimate, bistro-inspired eatery includes a vibrant palette illuminated by natural light. A marble centerpiece topped with an arrangement of wild greenery sits at the heart of the interior to maintain a connection with the courtyard seating area.
In guestrooms, French doors, bold blue hues, and plaid, striped, and floral-patterned fabrics contrast marble bathrooms.
