The Park Hyatt brand will make its debut on the Caribbean island of St. Kitts this summer with the opening of the Park Hyatt St. Kitts. The 126-room property will also be the island’ first luxury beach resort, set along a secluded beachfront and rolling hills.
G.A Group’s design will reflect the island’s rich heritage and culture through local materials and water features. Contemporary architecture and colonial design will mingle across the property’s 78 guestrooms and 48 suites. Each room includes chic décor, local artwork, arches that frame views of the Caribbean Sea and landscape, and private balconies and terraces, in addition to rainshowers and deep soaking tubs. Premium suites will boast private rooftop swimming pools and sundecks, while the three-bedroom presidential villa includes its own private infinity pool and wellness area.
Aside from several pool bars, three distinct dining experiences will be housed onsite, including the chef’s table and conservatory concept the Rum Bar; seafood option the Fisherman’s Village; and the Stone Barn, an adults-only venue. The resort’s reception hall will be home to five private event spaces, an outdoor terrace, and two event lawns. The Sugar Mill Spa & Sanctuary will feature nine treatment rooms as well as a 1,750-square-foot 24-hour fitness center.
