Planet Hollywood Beach Resort has debuted in Uttorda Beach, located in southern Goa, India.
JMJ Group developed the resort in partnership with Bollywood celebrity Sachiin J. Joshi.
“We are extremely excited to have opened the newest incarnation of Planet Hollywood in Goa,” says Robert Earl, founder and chairman, Planet Hollywood International. “India has long been a center for cinematic creativity and innovation so it is only natural that we bring the iconic Planet Hollywood brand to the area with this exciting new property.”
The 130 rooms, suites, and seasonal tents will be outfitted in the theme of classic Hollywood films and stars. Gauri Khan provided design input for all interior furniture and art.
Resort amenities will include three restaurants, including Planet Dailies, Fame, and Shack Posiedon; a nightlife lounge; a cigar bar; indoor and outdoor activity areas for children; a spa including five treatment rooms and outdoor treatment spaces; an outdoor yoga space; a fully equipped beauty salon; a steam room; a pool; and a gym.
The resort serves as the first in a string of openings in the pipeline for the Planet Hollywood brand.
