Finland has welcomed its inaugural Radisson RED Hotel, the 195-room Radisson RED Helsinki.
Situated at the corner of Kaisaniemi Park, the hotel is a fusion of local Nordic aesthetics, striking architectural elements, and the boutique hotel brand’s recognizable visual identity.
Positioned on the outskirts of the city center, surrounded by the park’s expansive greenery, the building—designed by locally based Anttinen Oiva Architects—features large windows that offer sweeping views of both the park and skyline.
An interior design by Fyra, also based in Helsinki, strategically complements the surrounding views with a subtle, dark material palette. Exposed rough concrete surfaces create an authentic and laid-back atmosphere, setting the tone throughout the public spaces. Lighting design also plays a pivotal role, especially in the multi-use restaurant, which transitions seamlessly from breakfast to dinner.
Guestrooms meticulously adhere to Radisson RED’s concept, incorporating its signature color scheme, surface materials, and artistic elements.
