Located on the 12th floor of the Address Dubai Mall—a luxury hotel and lifestyle destination—Nazcaa is a new a dining concept that fuses Peruvian and Japanese cuisine.
Designed by ZNera Space and Habitat Architects, Nazcaa was born out of a fascination of the Nazca Lines, a UNESCO World Heritage site of geoglyphs in Peru.
The restaurant’s layout was thoughtfully sectionalized into cozy corners for private dinners, and opens up to a main seating area with a bar, as well as an outdoor seating area with skyline views.
Nods to the ancient Nazca Lines are intricately woven into every element, serving as a testament to art and a reminder of the significance of cultural heritage. A Peruvian-inspired color palette—comprising sandy beige, rich cocoa, and spicy mustard—acts as a canvas for details like native symbols of animals, plants, and geometric shapes.
Geoglyph-inspired patterns run across the restaurant’s ceiling and floating glass doves suspend from overhead to simulate nature within the interior confines of the space. Underfoot, bronze marble is laid out as an abstract representation of the ancient etchings, while brown sandy wooden flooring and low-lying desert plants anchor the outdoor section.
