Renaissance has launched its first hotel in sub-Saharan Africa with the Renaissance Lagos Ikeja. Designed by South African firms Plan One in collaboration with Les Harbottle Design, the hotel houses 155 guestrooms and 17 contemporary loft suites in the Nigerian city’s commercial center.
Accommodations are appointed with elegant African details, abundant natural light, and expansive seating areas, while bold and vibrant elements define the hotel’s public spaces. Eight versatile meeting rooms can be configured to serve a six-person board meeting or a gathering of up to 280 guests, while a dedicated bar and flexible breakout areas accompany the multifunctional venues. The 24-hour fitness center and the outdoor pool overlooking the city are among the property’s other amenities.
Onsite F&B concepts include the specialty steakhouse Cut, all-day restaurant Iyeru Okin, coffeehouse-style option Choco-Latte, and the stylish 24-hour RBar.
