Following its debut in February, the Ritz-Carlton, Bali resort has opened its signature spa concept.
Surrounded by a traditional Balinese garden, the Ritz-Carlton Spa, Bali’s interiors blend indigenous materials with an island-inspired aesthetic that nods to the nearby Indian Ocean and ancient Sanskrit stories.
An open-air lobby within leads to the wellness center, which features 14 freestanding treatment rooms and four spa villas—all with Sanskrit names, such as Santhi, which means peace, and Sama Asthana, which means tranquil palace. Created for couple’s services, each villa boasts a private Balinese bathing pool, an open-air relaxation area, an outdoor shower that overlooks a natural limestone cliff, and a separate changing room.
The sprawling spa also features a pool system with five sections that focus on relieving back, neck, feet, and leg muscle tension. Separate female and male wet areas offer a whirlpool, cool plunge pool, steam and sauna rooms, and a dedicated shower room.
Additional spa amenities include a fitness center, yoga studio, and hair salon.
