Ritz-Carlton has announced that it will embark on the high seas with its expansion into luxury yachting and cruises. The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection will mark its debut with the launch of three elegant cruising yachts courtesy of Höganäs, Sweden-based Tillberg Design and slated to set sail in the fourth quarter of 2019.
The small capacity vessel will span 623 feet in length and accommodate 298 passengers across 149 suites, all of which will be appointed with private balconies. Yachts will also house two 1,485-square-foot duplex penthouse suites. The ships will travel to signature destinations such as St. Barths, Capri, Portofino, and the old town of Cartagena, Colombia for seven-to-10 day voyages. Additional onboard amenities will include a dining concept from Sven Elverfeld, a signature Ritz-Carlton Spa, and Panorama Lounge and wine bar.
