Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, in partnership with YTL Hotels, will develop Thailand’s Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui hotel, along with Japanese resort Niseko Village, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve.
Niseko is a global skiing destination that is situated at the base of Mt. Niseko-Annupuri. Capitalizing on its location, the 50-key Niseko Village will be the first “ski-in and ski-out” hotel in Japan when it debuts in 2020. It will also be the company’s fifth offering in the country, with additional locations in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Okinawa.
Featuring 187 guestrooms and pool villas, the Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui will be located in Choeng Mon—an area on the northern tip of its namesake island—when it opens in 2017.
