Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company is expanding in Bali with the addition of the Ritz Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve hotel.
Located in Ubud along the Ayung River, the resort is the third addition to the Ritz-Carlton Reserve portfolio. Its name references an architectural mandapa—the entrance to a traditional Hindu temple.
The hotel offers an array of 35 suites and 25 private pool villas with contemporary Balinese interiors designed by Kuala Lumpur-based DESIGNWILKES. Many interior elements were crafted with locally sourced and sustainable materials.
The property’s Mandapa village will offer four F&B outlets, including Indonesian- and Mediterranean-inspired outlets.
Additional amenities will include the Spa at Mandapa with eight treatment rooms, a fitness center, sauna, riverfront yoga studio, and designated relaxation areas. An organic garden, farm, and educational Kid’s Hut will also be located onsite.
