Langham Place, New York has partnered with French design firm and retailer Roche Bobois to create the forthcoming Roche Bobois suites at Langham Place. Housed on the hotel’s 25th and 26th floors with views of the Empire State Building, the two 1,900-square-foot suites will be redesigned to reflect the brand’s style. Both suites include two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a half-bath, and a combined living and dining area with a full-service kitchen.
Drawing influence from the brand’s recent collaboration with French fashion house Christian Lacroix, Roche Bobois will infuse the suites with furnishings representative of French design tradition. A full dining room will be added, featuring a 10-person dining table cut from a single block of Carrara marble. Drapery from menswear designer Paul Smith will frame the floor-to-ceiling windows, mirroring the tailored lines of a man’s suit. Made from Maison Christian Lacroix materials, exclusive brocade artwork will serve as a counterpoint to the hotel’s collection from artist Alex Katz.
The suites will be unveiled this September, coinciding with New York Fashion Week and the United Nations General Assembly.
