Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin has officially opened in Courchevel 1850, one of the world’s most luxurious ski destinations. Located in the French Alps, the property showcases a modern interpretation of the Alpine chalet, where midcentury glamour meets elevated mountain aesthetic.
The hotel’s façade is crafted from Swiss-quarried Vals Quartzite and layered with wood and copper detailing that grounds the architecture in its landscape.
Guestrooms at Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin
Accommodations span 51 guestrooms, suites, and private houses, each conceived by Paris-based designer Tristan Auer as a warm refuge connected to the surrounding slopes. Seated terraces frame views of snow-covered peaks, while custom stone-and-copper fireplaces and bespoke salt-crafted wall lights keep nature at the forefront.
Timber and stone are paired with polished copper accents and mirrored surfaces, creating interiors that feel both intimate and luminous. Sculptural carved doors mark the transition into private spaces, where fireplaces and sunlit terraces anchor panoramic views of the French Alps.
The property also features three signature houses, each able to house up to eight guests. The largest, the Jardin Alpin Apartment, is a four-bedroom standalone residence designed by French architects Karl Fournier and Olivier Marty of Studio KO.
Dining at SALTO
The onsite dining program centers on SALTO, a culinary concept inspired by the French and Italian Alps.
SALTO Bar welcomes guests directly from the slopes with classic Alpine fare, while evenings transition the space into a more elevated dining experience. SALTO Lounge, meanwhile, extends the après-ski atmosphere into late-night socializing.
Wellness is anchored by Rosewood’s signature Asaya Spa, a sanctuary focused on personalized treatments and holistic restoration.
