The famed Capella Washington, DC hotel in Georgetown has opened its doors as the Rosewood Washington, DC. Rosewood was appointed as the hotel’s management company by new owners CTF Georgetown Hotel.
Located along the city’s historic C&O Canal, the 49-room hotel includes seasonal restaurant the Grill Room and the Rye Bar. A private rooftop lounge offers panoramic indoor-outdoor views of the nation’s capital.
“The hotel draws on the capital’s rich culture and history to express Rosewood’s trademark philosophy of ‘A Sense of Place’ in innovative and memorable ways,” says Rosewood CEO Sonia Cheng.
