The Rosewood Washington, DC has closed its doors in the city’s posh Georgetown neighborhood to begin a renovation. Slated to reopen in spring 2019, the hotel will return with a new townhouse suite experience through the integration of six neighboring townhouses. Redesigned by locally based designer Thomas Pheasant, each of which will total nearly 1,000 square feet of living space as well as luxe bathrooms and well-equipped kitchens.
Upon reopening, the hotel will also introduce a new restaurant—Cut by Wolfgang Puck—that reflects the cosmopolitan sensibility of both Georgetown and the Mid-Atlantic at large. Cut DC will be joined by a new bar and lounge in the lobby, while a new deck overlooking the city will crown the property. A 14-seat private dining and meeting room will also be featured onsite.
