The Renaissance Atlanta Airport Gateway Hotel has arrived as the latest addition to the Renaissance portfolio. Linked to the Hartfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport via SkyTrain, the property features designs from Rottet Studio.
“Design aesthetics throughout the hotel embody a high-low theme intermixing raw materials such as concrete ceilings with polished materials like walnut wood, and peppered with playful unexpected moments of discovery inspired by the Renaissance brand,” says Rottet Studio founding principal Lauren Rottet.
The design is enhanced with an expansive collection of locally sourced artwork. Installations range from whimsical porch swings to digital projections to 11 murals. Eight suites are included among the 204 rooms, all of which exude a sophisticated, residential-style. Amplifying the modern aesthetic and unexpected moments, the eight suites feature graffiti murals from Ryan Coman.
In addition to the New Orleans-style concept Hickory & Hazel Southern Table, the hotel houses 6,290 square feet of event space, two outdoor spaces, and a fitness center. The 3,345-square-foot ballroom is equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows and a non-traditional layout appointed with lounge-style furnishings and décor that emphasize natural elements, neutral tones, and wallcoverings. The hotel’s business center also offers refreshing twist with a variety of seating and drawers to encourage guests to leave notes and messages for one another.
