Houston-based Rottet Studio has revamped the spa and fitness center at the Four Seasons Houston in the first phase of a multimillion-dollar renovation to the property.
Changes to the spa include three new treatment rooms, a relaxation room, a couple’s suite, and a nail bar. The fitness center has been updated with state-of-the-art equipment, locker rooms, steam rooms, and a designated room for fitness classes. The revamped space will open this month.
The design aesthetic is streamlined throughout, with white marble, dark travertine tile, natural eucalyptus, and oak burl wood layered to create a richly appointed environment. The locker rooms are marked by marble-clad bathing areas and floating vanities that feature art glass panels, metallic fabric, custom mirrors, and elegant wallpaper to create a soft, smoky atmosphere.
The fitness center features a series of wellness classes, as well as a spa happy hour in which discounted treatments are offered at certain hours.
