Health- and wellbeing-centric hospitality brand Sensei has revealed plans to launch its second retreat, Sensei Porcupine Creek, in early 2022. The tranquil, intimate backdrop of Rancho Mirage, California will complement the company’s wellness-focused ethos as well as promote engagement with the natural splendor of the Santa Rosa mountains.
“Sensei is a trusted source for immersive wellbeing, given we have best-in-class practitioners and our approach is rooted in science and research and backed by technology,” says Sensei CEO Kevin Kelly. “The guest’s stay is further enhanced by unmatched settings grounding people in a lush natural environment that becomes as much a part of the experience as the wellness programs themselves.
Like its inaugural predecessor—Sensei Lāna’I, a Four Seasons Resort—the new retreat will invite guests to work with onsite specialists and coaches to maximize their stay through a curated wellness regiment. Tailored activities will include spa treatments, yoga classes, meditation, and more.
Home to a small number of guestrooms, accommodations will be spread across a former estate house alongside private villas. In addition to a golf course, amenities will include an F&B option conceived in partnership with Nobu.
“With Sensei Porcupine Creek, we have the opportunity to offer our programming in a stunning luxury setting that takes advantage of its majestic desert location, which has long been a destination for health and wellness seekers,” Kelly adds.
