Loews Hotels & Resorts has opened the Loews Chicago Hotel.
Designed by Chicago-based Simeone Deary Design Group and Solomon Cordwell Buenz architects, Loews Chicago Hotel draws inspiration from its location with metals, wood, and furnishings infused with modern touches.
“Returning to Chicago with a branded hotel has been a goal of ours for some time now,” says Jonathan Tisch, chairman of Loews Hotels & Resorts. “It is especially exciting for us to be able to expand our footprint by adding such a spectacular property at a time when Chicago is thriving.”
The property features 400 guestrooms, including 25 suites; signature lobby bar ETA; an Argentine restaurant, Rural Society, by Iron Chef Jose Garces; more than 29,000 square feet of meeting space; a luxury spa and a fitness center with a 75-foot lap pool; and Streeterville Social, the largest outdoor rooftop terrace in the city.
