Six Senses has announced the newest addition to its portfolio with the upcoming Six Senses Krabey Island in Cambodia.
Guests arrive at a mainland reception before a short water transfer to the 30-acre island, where the resort comprises 40 private and sustainable villas. Living rooms will include a daybed, minibar, and work desk, and all units will include private plunge pools and pool decks. Outdoor showers will be a fixture of select villas while the Retreat and Reserve villas will be equipped with mini wine cellars.
The main onsite restaurant Indochine will offer a communal dining table with a view into the show kitchen while an all-day eatery will serve an array of à la carte selections and themed dinners. Lighter fare will be available poolside and at a deli and ice cream parlor, and an elevated bar features ocean views.
Other amenities at the Six Senses Spa Krabey Island include a wide range of wellness offerings as well as a meditation cave, nail bar, gym, and outdoor yoga and treatment pavilions, along with two retail boutiques, a spa library, juice bar, outdoor poolside cinema, and a proposed educational observatory housing an astronomical telescope.
The Six Senses Krabey Island is slated to open in 2017.
